Happy Fall everyone!! I am so excited to share various ways I have decorated our home this fall, including a few very easy DIY idea and some decor ideas I hope you will be able to replicate in your own home! I have included 10 ways we have decorated at our house on Boxwood! Feel free to pin your favorite ideas!
Every dining room table deserves a little table decor. For the fall season, I chose a subtle, neutral fall centerpiece. It has an elegant look, but was very easy to put together. I placed medium white and blue pumpkins into a shallow wooden box. I filled the remaining space with mini white pumpkins and pine cones. Then, I tucked faux seeded eucalyptus leaves to add a lush, finished look to the centerpiece.
To finish the dining room table off, I added a simple place setting. In continuing with the neutral fall decor, I layered white plates with a tan cloth napkin in between. On top, I placed some of the same pine cones I used in the centerpiece. This display added the perfect touch to finish off our dining room table.
Have you ever seen those spiky balls on the ground in the fall? Like this…
These spiky pods come from sweetgum trees and are an amazing and inexpensive way to decorate your home in the fall! Depending on your location these pods fall from the trees in mid to late fall.
You can leave the pods as they are and place them in a bowl or glass vase. Or if the all-natural look isn’t for you, check out how to jazz them up a bit.
Lay the pods out and spray them with golden glitter blast from Michaels (originally $8.49 but were 50% off).
For a golden look, place the spray bottle closer to the pods when applying. For more of a frosted look, spray from a farther distance. Wait for them to dry and finish the look off by placing the pods in an apothecary!
Throughout the fall season, fill a pumpkin with the things you are thankful for! Some days it can be meaningful (our nephew being born!) and other days it can be silly (eating cookie dough). By the end of the fall season, this pumpkin is a great representation of things you are thankful for!
Mini pumpkins are the perfect decoration to place throughout your home. You can simply place them somewhere that needs a little love.
Or you can display them with a little more creatively!
By placing a plaid blanket or scarf somewhere, you immediately add the look of fall to your home. It is a simple, but effective way to change the look of a space!
I bought a couple of bags of plastic pumpkins at Michaels and spray painted them metallic silver (Michaels for $6.99 with a 40% coupon)!
This gave the pumpkins a whole different feel which meshed better with the other neutral fall decorations in our dining room.
A cute and effortless way to decorate in the fall is with coffee beans. There is nothing better than the smell of coffee, so why not decorate with it?! Pour coffee beans into a glass votive and add a candle.
