I truly enjoy knowing quirky facts about others, so I thought what better way to start my blog than with 50 random facts about me! Although I’m not really sure if anyone cares to read 50 things about me 🙂

1. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Marketing and Public Relations degree.
2. My husband, Mike and I got married and moved into a brand new home all in one month! Talk about multitasking! And NO MORE MONEY!!

3. I was born and raised in Franklin, TN, a small (or used to be small) town just outside of Nashville.
4. I am blessed with the greatest parents in the world. I talk to my mom at least once a day, but I’m also a huge daddy’s girl.
5. Mike and I are obsessed with our fur babies, Tucker and Sadie!

6. I am left handed! Although sometimes it is a huge inconvenience (anytime I have to use scissors or write in a 3 ring notebook), I love that it makes me a little bit different than most of the world!
7. If you ask anyone about me, they would describe me as an extrovert. But what most people don’t know is, I have days where I like to lock myself in my house (usually with some DIY project) and not see anyone.
8. I played Division I Soccer. Go Tops!
9. I LOVE to make lists! To-do lists, itineraries, grocery lists, goals I want to achieve… I love lists. The only thing better than making a list, is crossing things off of that list!
10. Sparkle is my favorite color. A few dates in, Mike asked me what my favorite color was… When I told him sparkle, he knew he was in trouble!
11. I love Thai food and sushi.
12. My birthday is January 16th.
13. I love games! Catch Phrase is my jam!
14. I love to run! I know most people don’t understand a love for running, but it is my outlet. It allows be to think with no other distractions.
15. Fall is my favorite season! People make jokes… “Everybody in the fall is like, oh pumpkin this and pumpkin that.” But really, I am that girl!!
16. I am not a good sleeper. I’m terrible at falling asleep (too much going on in my head most of the time). And when I sleep in, I feel like I have wasted the day away.
17. Mike and I met playing kickball.

18. I get a lot of inspiration from Joanna Gaines. If you have never heard of her, start watching Fixer Upper on HGTV! She and her husband, Chip, are amazing!
19. I’m the type of person that loves to laugh at herself. If I do something stupid or ridiculous, I ALWAYS have to tell someone.
20. Quote to live by: “Sometimes the adventure finds you and sometimes you have to make your adventure happen!”
21. I have run in 2 Tough Mudders and a half dozen Half Marathons.

22. I always like to have fresh flowers in the house. Hydrangeas are my favorite.
23. Mike is the Chip to my Joanna. He is my handyman. When I come up with some out-there idea/plan, he helps me figure out how to make it happen (after looking at me like I have 2 heads, of course)!
24. I am a procrastinator. I could have an idea in my head for months, but will still wait until the last minute to do it. They always get done though!
25. I am most productive at night (usually when Mike is already asleep).
26. I love CHRISTMAS!! Decorating (I consider this day a holiday in itself!), the Christmas spirit, Bake-a-thon, all the cheesy movies, gift giving, the music, all of it! I even have 3 Christmas trees in my house!

27. I can spend hours and hours organizing things.
28. I can touch my tongue to my nose.
29. One of my favorite things is the feeling when it’s cool outside, but the sun is shining, and you get into a car. That warmth you feel is THE BEST!
30. Whether I am at work, sitting watching tv, blogging, or hanging out with friends at our house, you will ALWAYS find me wrapped in a blanket.
31. My guilty pleasures are binging tv series and cheat days (you can eat whatever you want for the whole day!)
32. I have never broken a bone.
33. I spent my 21st birthday playing soccer in Brazil!

34. I do NOT like feet. The end.
35. I love learning new things. Even if I fail, I like the experience of trying something I never have before.
36. I could watch NCIS, Law & Order: SVU and Criminal Minds all day every day. Even if I’ve already seen them (which I probably have).
37. I could eat breakfast food at any time of the day. Breakfast for dinner is the best!
38. It drives me nuts when people don’t use your/you’re or there/they’re/their properly.
39. I am a huge Kentucky fan! And yes, I even root for their football team.
40. I love giving gifts! I think it’s because I love to see the joy on people’s faces when they receive them!
41. My best friend’s name is Carolyn, and we have been best friends for as long as I can remember! “Everyone has a friend during each stage of life. But I am one of the lucky ones that has had the same friend in all stages of life!”

42. I took Sign Language for two years in college and it was one of the coolest experiences.
43. Without my contacts or glasses, I am almost considered legally blind.
44. I hate driving long distances. Anytime I don’t have to drive, I won’t.
45. My favorite emoji: The classic clueless eye roll 
46. I set multiple alarms in the morning, and I don’t know why because I always wait until the last one goes off to get up.
47. After watching Ninja Warrior, I feel unstoppable! (until reality sets in haha)
48. I excessively use exclamation points!!!! If you find that annoying, too bad!
49. I try to surround myself with people who have contagious laughs. It is literally one of my favorite things! Shout out to three of the best laughs out there: Christi, Sarah and Alaina: Every time I hear you laugh, a smile automatically forms on my face!
50. I am the type of girl that wears Nikes to her wedding!
